Rodrigo Guitar TrioMeet the performers Raymond Burley (guitar and requinto) is well know as a soloist and member of several duos; these include the steel-string guitarist Gordon Giltrap, classical guitarist John Mills, flautist Jennifer Stinton and mezzo-soprano Jacqueline Fox. He has toured extensively throughout the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK--the latter includes many appearances at London's Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room. Raymond broadcasts regularly on BBC's Radio 2, 3 and 4 and he has numerous CDs and publications to his credit. Cornelius Bruinsma (guitar) studied at Colchester Institute where he gained an Honours Degree in Music. He went on to postgraduate studies with Gerald Lee at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama achieving an Advanced Soloists Certificate and Licenciate Diploma. Cornelius has toured Europe and the UK and broadcast on BBC's Radio 3 and 4 and BBC television. He is a founding member of the New Pro Arte Guitar Trio. Arne Brattland (guitar) studied at the Norwegian State Academy of Music and made his Norwegian debut in 1983. Further studies in London, with the support of a British Council scholarship, led to an international debut at the Wigmore Hall in 1988. Arne has toured Europe, Canada and the US. He has recorded three CDs. He is the most recent member of the trio. |
