School Programs

Joseph Gramley also offers a 50-minute introduction to the world's percussion instruments that children will find tremendously entertaining, informative and, above all, fun. A gifted solo performer, Gramley is also a member of Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project, and has led its children's performances at Orchestra Hall in Chicago and Carnegie Hall in New York. Joe has taken his energetic, crowd-pleasing programs to dozens of venues across the country, generating enthusiasm from children, parents and teachers alike.

"It was a great pleasure to work with (Joe Gramley) and watch him develop into our favorite artist/teacher for percussion instruments. He assisted in program development and purchasing equipment and instruments. His warm, gentle approach and sensitivity combined with his excellent skill and knowledge made him the most sought after artist by our students and staff. Music education at P224 Q was stimulated by Joe and hopefully this stimulation will continue as a result of Joe's collaboration." (Joan (I'o) Cabanos P224 Q New York City)

"The students were transfixed! He does a terrific job relating, answering questions and explaining the instruments. He's a natural!"
