In June 2006 twenty million people heard soprano saxophonist Anders Paulsson perform on a live television celebration of the 60th birthday of King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden. Paulsson appeared at the direct request of the King, and performed before heads of state and royalty from throughout Europe at the event.
