“For tuneful and effortless interpretations of some of the great Tin Pan Alley songs, I couldn't go past David Giardina's performances. He sounds like the songs were written for him so sensitively are they presented on his debut CD.” Keith Potger, Founding member of The Seekers
“Thank you! I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful evening we all had when you opened our Winter Concert Series with Tin Pan Alley Alive! The two of you performing together is sheer magic.
The audience loved every minute, as you saw from the standing ovation. The comments I and other staff received were, ‘I haven’t heard the music of the ‘20’s and ‘30’s done with so much heart and soul,’ ‘They brought us back to those romantic times.’ ‘Where did you find these two artists; they’re right from Broadway.’ The one I love best was, ‘Paul and David are phenomenal. You better have them back!’
I echo their sentiments and would say to anyone who is looking for a world-class performance to look no further; Paul Bisaccia and David Giardina are the dynamic duo. They perform together in a perfect weave… ‘S Wonderful’.
It would be another magical evening if we could have the two of you perform for us again.

“Dave Giardina is a very fine singer indeed. Possessed of a lyrical and vigorous high baritone voice, he can render everything from lusty Italian pop classics such as ‘Chitarra Romana’ to tender love songs such as ‘The Very Thought of You’. He both charms and excites his lucky audiences." Steve Ross, Cabaret Entertainer
"...First of all, on behalf of the United Nations Women’s Guild, I would like to convey our appreciation for your performance at our United Nations Day Concert on 24 October 2007, and again, as the only repeat act by popular demand, performed at our 60th Anniversary celebration concert at the United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Auditorium on 24 October 2008. Your act was memorable, your voice beautiful and you were able to reach out to all the audience. Everyone, including our Honorary President, Mrs. Ban Ki-moon, and many Ambassadors and their wives enjoyed your lovely songs."
Tsu-Wei Zoe Chang, President
United Nations Women's Guild
“...David Giardina seems to understand what the composer/lyricist is trying to say and is able to bring his own personal nuances to these dearly loved all-time favorites. It's always a pleasure for me to hear a favorite song sung in a new and stylish way. I look forward to more of the same.”
Chalmers "Chum" Dale, Producer CBS TV, Author
“…If they were shooting "Carousel" or "Oklahoma" today, Giardina could have competed with Gordon MacRae or John Raitt, etc., with that voice and his looks, but it looks like he's doing quite well as it is!”
Dean Tomich, Composer/Music Producer
“David Giardina croons his way into our hearts by infusing familiar classic songs with superb musical style and personality. Whether singing in clipped precision, "The Continental," or bringing soulful warmth to the lovely "All Things You Are," his lyric baritone delights our ears and transports us back in time, when lyrics were sophisticated, and melodies beautiful.”

Paul Bisaccia, pianist
GREAT NEWS for Paul Bisaccia fans--he has formed a new duo with the lyric baritone David Giardina, a star of New York's Rainbow Room. Their first program offering is "Tin Pan Alley Alive," a pure Americana review of favorite songs from the first part of the 20th century. David, by the way, actually lives on the legendary Tin Pan Alley in New York and is a specialist in this genre.
David Giardina is a dynamic lyric baritone crooner who specializes in the great American Songbook from the 1920’s and 1930’s – an era often referred to as “Tin Pan Alley”. Since 1994 David has crooned with top swing orchestras and pianists at such venues as the world famous Rainbow Room, command performances at the United Nations, Swing 46, Grand Central Partnership, the Central Park Band shell and many many others.
David Giardina’s mellifluous crooning style evokes the feeling of early Bing Crosby, Rudy Vallee and Al Bowlly yet is completely unique. His debut cd album “Alive In Tin Pan Alley!” (TH-72023) is now available on the Towerhill label. This exciting cd comprises a celebration of classic American popular songs from roughly 1910 – 1940 performed live by Mr. Giardina at various venues such as The Rainbow Room, The United Nations and others. Included are “The Very Thought of You”, “The Continental”, “My Melancholy Baby” and several other favorites.
“Alive in Tin Pan Alley!” refers not only to the bygone era of great American songwriting but also to the section of New York City where these treasures were created by the likes of George & Ira Gershwin, Victor Herbert, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and countless others – namely on 28th St between 5th and 6th Ave. David, who has been in love with the music and culture of the 1920’s/30’s (despite being born decades after this), ironically found himself living in Tin Pan Alley before he even knew that “Tin Pan Alley” was a physical locale – an argument for reincarnation if ever there was one!
David is also an award winning film writer/director/producer and model. He began acting at age 12 with various theater companies around Connecticut including Oddfellows Playhouse (where he studied acting, script writing and directing and more), Theatre First, Company 1 in Hartford, and the Alliance Theater Group in New Haven. After graduating from Hofstra University, Mr. Giardina moved to New York City and began acting professionally in film, television and stage productions including "As The World Turns", "NY's Most Wanted" (he played the criminal of the week!), After School Specials for ABC and CBS, including Linda Lavin's directorial debut "Flour Babies", as well as comic roles on the USA Network, appearing opposite Gilbert Gotfried.
